Social Media Blast – Facebook Page Week- “I Like It!”

Why Should We Work Together?

Brands and Sponsors are looking for
bloggers just like you and me, but they need us to have a platform that
matches their vision. You may already have the blog of their dreams, but
perhaps you don’t have the quantity of social media contacts they require.
They need an audience, and they will happily pay you to promote their
products if they see that your blog has a large social media following.

So, we’re throwing down the gauntlet,
getting the ball rolling. Let’s change our thinking and work together. 2016
could be an incredible year, if we decide that we aren’t competing with
each other. We’re on the same team. #WAYWOW Social Media Blast will be
featured every Thursday, we can use it to grow, each and every one of

Meet your hosts:

Social Media Blast! Let's work together to grow our Social Media Platforms.

Nikki from View From In Here Jessica from Adventures of a
Lindsey from Yvonne from Double the Monkey
Leanna from Faeries and Fauna Rena from Fine. Whatever. Blog
Rosie from Everything’s Coming Up
Marina from Simply Marina
Gidget from Mommy Perfect Leah from Elm Photo
Leanne from Smiles and Sundays Tinese from Inspired by A3

So, are you going to pick up the gauntlet?
Together we can all make 2016 a great year!!

Here’s the challenge, stop competing, let’s
all support each other. Link up each week, there will be a different Social
Media Platform for you to build, we will focus mostly on the top platforms
that Brands and Sponsors like to see. This is where the Blog Karma sets in,
the more people you follow, the more will follow you.

Again, Blogging is NOT a competition.

So, why aren’t all of us bloggers working
together more? Why aren’t we jumping at the chance to follow each other on
social media? You don’t have to write in my niche for me to learn from you,
how you tweet, share, write, brand. And I’m not competing for my share.
There’s enough to go around. Honest.

And we would love to throw down the
challenge, let’s work together to grow! Social Media Blast will be live on
all of our Blogs, giving you the opportunity to hang out with us and meet
our Social Media Following.

This week we’re focusing on Facebook

FYI Facebook will only allow you to “Like” so many pages
per hour. If you also place a comment on the Page you should be able to
like as many as listed in one go.

This week, link up the URL to your
Facebook account (NOT YOUR BLOG URL), follow others on the list. This
linkup will be open for a week, so come back and follow more as the week
goes on, and get followed back! This is not a link dump, if you aren’t
following others your link will be deleted. Thanks

This week is Facebook week. Make
sure you are adding your Business Page to the linkup and liking or
following all the pages with your personal account, likes from a Business
Page do not raise your follower count! When I like someone from the linkup
I will leave them a message that I found them here so they will make sure
to follow my Business Page back. Blog Karma!

To find the URL to your Facebook Page, open
up Facebook, click on your business page and copy the URL.

My URL is:
Yours should be similar!

This week is Facebook Page week.

By the way, share this, let’s reach out to
as many bloggers as we can, we’ve made it easy to Tweet above. Let’s make
2016 a year for blogging community!

PS did you know that Brands will
pay you good money to post their products on Facebook? The larger and more
involved your Facebook Following the more money you can be paid. Let’s get
some dollars in your pocket!

  1. Hi Lisa;

Nice to see a fellow Canadian. I have met several other bloggers through this link up and it has really helped me network.

The link up is weekly so we will eventually connect through all the different platforms. Write me anytime. I will keep an eye open for Recreated Designs as well.

  2. What a great post. I’m in UK and new to blogging, but am currently looking to grow my audience and find new blogs to read, so I’d love to link up. Facebook is proving more difficult and slower to grow than Twitter for some reason x #weekendblogshare x

    1. Hello Lisa:

Thank you for joining our link up I have by far the hardest time getting anywhere with Facebook. You will find the #socialmediablast is a great venue, especially for new bloggers. Thank you for commenting.

  3. Leanna, I’m not on Facebook. There are sooooo many social media platforms, and I started with Twitter, later added Pinterest. That’s about all I can handle! I’m going to look for everyone on Pinterest. I like to be supportive of other bloggers.

    1. Hi Jean I know what you mean. I am a new blogger and I had only been active on Pinterest, I rarely used facebook and Instagram, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Google +, and so on were brand new to me. Thank you for taking the time to comment and I will look for you. You can participate whenever your comfortable starting a new platform. Cheers Leanna
